Why Chemotherapy Doesn't Work

Do you have a cancer diagnosis? Then you're most likely to hear your recommended treatment is one of the following three: surgery, radiation or chemotherapy. Mainstream Western medicine routinely offers these 3 standard therapies, or some variation of them.

The most dreaded of these is chemotherapy because of its terrible side-effects. They can be acute, chronic, permanent, or fatal.

Short-term chemotherapy side-effects often cause much:

inconvenience, discomfort, pain, loss of hair, diarrhea, constipation, loss of appetite, dangerous weight loss, blisters, and burning.

Long-term chemotherapy side-effects can include:

loss of hearing, loss of memory, loss of sexual drive, increase in blood fungus, irreversible damage to your liver, damage your kidneys, causing a new cancer, and it has a 99 percent chance of killing you in 5-years, or allowing the cancer to kill you.

Yet, many oncologists are quick to recommend chemotherapy for almost any type of cancer - even though it's been shown NOT to work in over 97% of the cases!

Why are oncologists so quick to recommend chemotherapy? Can you say "Money"?

Oncologists see cancer patients as a revenue source. And when asked if they themselves (in a recent report) would take this treatment if they had a cancer diagnoses, a resounding majority of oncologists said, "Absolutely Not"!

How does Chemotherapy work?

Chemotherapy damages the DNA of rapidly dividing cells. Cancer cells are rapidly dividing, so that's a good thing, right? Well, yes; however, your immune system cells are also rapidly dividing. In fact, your immune system cells are the most rapidly dividing cells in your body.

At this point, I hope you start to become just a little concerned that Oncology is attacking your immune system along with the cancer.

Chemotherapy and Blood Cancer

Blood cancers such as lymphoma and leukemia travel throughout the body. The human body has about 600 lymph nodes. They make up part of our immune system. Lymphoma is cancer of the lymph nodes and lymph system; therefore, chemotherapy is standard treatment for cancer in the lymph nodes because chemotherapy is a "systemic treatment" meaning whole body treatment.

Why is chemotherapy given before breast surgery? After mammograms detect cancer, chemotherapy is administered as standard treatment. Quite often it is administered before surgery to shrink the tumor/s.

Likewise, why is chemotherapy given for oral cancer? This practice is on the rise in the United States. Typically surgery and radiation have been the standard, but in order to decrease hospital stays to satisfy insurance companies, outpatient radiation treatments has grown in popularity for oral cancer. I do imagine this makes oncology very happy, don't you think?

Question: What is the first thing Oncology checks before giving the next dose of chemo?

The answer: Your white blood cells - that is, your immune cells. Why do Oncologists check white blood cell count? To insure the count is reduced.

Because if your immune system cell count is reduced, they also know they are reducing the speed the cancer cells are multiplying.

Does Chemo Kill All The Cancer?

If you were to ask an oncologist (chemo doctor) if chemo could ever possibly kill all of the cancer cells, the honest answer would be a resounding, "Never!" Chemotherapy doesn't work that way. At its very best, chemo might kill 60%, 70%, maybe even 80% of the cancer cells, but there will always be some remaining.

That would make you think, "If the chemo is not going to kill all the cancer cells, and if I'm going to live, what's going to kill the rest of the cancer cells, and why don't oncologists tell me this?"

The fact is, if your immune system cannot step up and kill the last 20% or 30% of the cancer cells, you will die from that remaining cancer. Herein lies the irony. Chemotherapy destroys the ONLY thing that can possibly save your life - that is, your immune system.

Why Would Oncology Knowingly Suppress Your Immune System?

Oncology surpresses your immune system because protocol is more important than the patient. And, unless your immune system is in the best working order to do battle with cancer, cancer will always win.

At the end of the day, there is no drug, substance, therapy or treatment that can heal cancer. It's your immune system that does the job of healing your body of cancer - but ONLY if you give your immune system what it needs to function properly, like "Transfer Factor" for one... AND if it hasn't been shut down by stress, chemotherapy, or any other immune system suppressors.

Why chemotherapy doesn't work - Cancer tumors confirmed to have stem cells that regenerate tumors

by: Jonathan Benson, staff writer

Three recent studies published in the journals Nature and Science shed new light on why chemotherapy, a common conventional treatment for cancer, is typically a complete failure at permanently eradicating cancer. Based on numerous assessments of how cancer cells multiply and spread, researchers from numerous countries have confirmed that cancer tumors generate their own stem cells, which in turn feed the re-growth of new tumors after earlier ones have been eliminated.

In one of the studies published in the journal Nature, researcher Luis Parada from the University of Texas (UT) Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and his colleagues decided to investigate how new tumors are able to re-grow after previous ones have been wiped out with chemotherapy. To do this, Parada and his team identified and genetically labeled cancer cells in brain tumors of mice before proceeding to treat the tumors with conventional chemotherapy.

What they discovered was that, although chemotherapy appeared in many cases to successfully kill tumor cells and temporarily stop the growth and spread of cancer, the treatment ultimately failed to prevent new tumors from forming. And the culprit, it turns out, was cancer stem cells that persisted long after chemotherapy, which quietly prompted the re-growth of new tumors later down the road.

A second study published in Nature found similar results using skin tumors, while a third published in the journal Science confirmed both of the other studies in research involving intestinal polyps. It appears as though, all across the board, cancer tumors possess an inherent ability to produce their own stem cells, which can circulate throughout the body and develop into tumors. And traditional cancer treatments do nothing to address them.

Forward-thinking cancer experts suggest abandoning chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery to treat cancer

Researchers at the University of Michigan's (UM) Comprehensive Cancer Center seem to agree with these conclusions as well, and are now suggesting, along with many others, a completely new approach to cancer treatment. Rather than continue to rely on chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery, which we here at NaturalNews have long been warning our readers of, are largely ineffective. Progressive cancer researchers believe it is now time to move forward with investigating new treatment approaches.

"[T]raditional (cancer) therapies like surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation do not destroy the small number of cells driving the cancer's growth," says UM's Comprehensive Cancer Center. "Instead of trying to kill all the cells in a tumor with chemotherapy or radiation, we believe it would be more effective to use treatments targeted directly at these so-called cancer stem cells. If the stem cells were eliminated, the cancer would be unable to grow and spread to other locations in the body."

Alternative cancer therapies like the Gerson therapy http://www.naturalnews.com/Gerson_therapy.html and Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski's antineoplastons http://www.naturalnews.com/Burzynski.html, for instance, are already successfully treating cancers in this way. But because of heavy-handed censorship and medical tyranny, these treatments are not widely accepted, and are actually considered to be fraudulent by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and virtually all state and federal medical boards.
